What clause 7.3 asks

Workers are made aware of: the OH&S policy and objectives; how they contribute to an effective system, including what better OH&S performance brings; what can follow, and what it can mean, if requirements are not met; incidents, and the findings of investigations, that concern them; the hazards, OH&S risks and decided actions that concern them; and that they are able to remove themselves from a work situation they believe poses serious and imminent danger, together with the arrangements that shield them from unfair consequences for doing so.

Awareness is what a worker can act on without looking it up. The clause includes the right to remove yourself from serious and imminent danger and the protection that makes the right real.

What to do about clause 7.3 before the revision

Add the reporting route and the anti-reprisal protection to induction and toolbox talks. Test the stop-work right in a real situation. Share incident findings with the workers they concern, not only with managers.
